Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using SKOOLED-AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What SKOOLED-AI Is

An AI-powered tool that helps teachers generate lesson plans, assessments, quizzes, and related classroom materials, across multiple curriculum standards. SKOOLED-AI is an independent, single-developer product and is not affiliated with DepEd or any school or institution.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. The Service is intended for teachers and other adult educators, not for direct use by students.

4. Your Account

Keep your login credentials confidential — you're responsible for activity under your account. New accounts currently go through a brief manual approval step. Contact us right away at support@skooled.online if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

• Don't use the Service to generate unlawful, harmful, or plagiarized content.
• Don't attempt to bypass usage limits, scrape the Service, or resell access without our written permission.
• Don't enter student personal information into any field — see our Privacy Policy.
• Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or automate interactions with the Service beyond normal individual use, including the LeX chatbot.

6. AI-Generated Content

Content is generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, including in curriculum alignment. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before using it in a classroom. We don't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any generated content for a particular purpose.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of the lesson plans, assessments, and other content you create using the Service. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Subscription & Billing

• Free plan: 5 lesson-plan generations per calendar month, at no cost, with full access to all curriculum standards and export formats.
• Pro plan: Php 299 per month, billed monthly, for unlimited generations. Payments are processed by PayMongo.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Because Pro access is granted immediately on payment, payments are generally non-refundable — but email support@skooled.online if something went wrong on our end and we'll look at it in good faith.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including abuse of free-tier limits or the chatbot, or attempts to compromise the Service's security. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by emailing support@skooled.online.

10. Service Availability

SKOOLED-AI is operated by a single developer. We do our best to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access and aren't liable for downtime.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SKOOLED-AI and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
